Hape Melodies

Hape Melodies was released early this year in January and it’s seen some healthy interest since it’s launch.  The Hape philosophy rings true with each toy and we can expect to hear more than just good reviews if the kids keep playing!

The range consists of  6 play instruments, is wonderfully made in wood and coloured with bright striking water based paint.

Hape Melodies Toy Intruments

Hape released this promotional video so you can see the kids in tune!

As usual the high quality design and manufacture make these a wonderful introduction to instrument play. You can expect kids to improve fine motor skills and problem solving with critical thinking,  cause and effect and spatial relation.

Amazon sales boast good reviews of these and we can expect to see alot more in the futre. At a reasonable price point from £12.50 to £3.50 there is something for all buyers.

Do remember when buying that play intruments are not intended to be musically sound ;-)

The kids will love the noise what ever notes they decide to arrange!

BRIO Builder – Coming Soon

BRIO Builder

BRIO have once again injected life a creativity into an existing concept! The brand new BRIO Builder system is a fantastic twist on a classic idea of a wooden construction toy.

You build – you play! BRIO Builder is a unique wooden-based construction system where the child becomes the creator. The child can build sturdy models with realistic details by following the instruction manual – or they can build whatever their imagination comes up with.

BRIO Builder

Every model comes with a child size tool to help with the construction. There are 8 different models in total, and all of them can be built into a secondary model, that you can easily find on the upcoming web site; www.briobuilder.net.

BRIO have also created a super slick video demonstrating the versatility of the product:

The BRIO Builder range will be in Toy Stores from September 2012.

Visionary Toy Production – Plan Toys

First off, Happy Friday everyone, it’s nearly the weekend!  After a short (but hectic) week in Marbel Toys we are ready for a Friday pint and pasty!

As the life seems to be fly be and the world seems to move quicker and quicker, sometimes it’s good to sit back and appreciate what  you have achieved. As I was looking through the gorgeous Plan Toys 2012 catalogue (there are some treats coming your way later in the year) I noticed a timeline of Plan Toys pretty epic history:

Plan Toys Milestones
(click the timeline to enlarge)

In Thailand during 1981, Mr Vitool Viraponsawan (CEO of Plan Toys), created the first company in the world to create toys from preservative free rubber-wood. From there, the visionary toy designer has created a world re-known toy company that has won countless multi national toy awards, transformed the methods of green toy manufacturing (in 2011 Plan Toys developed a completely new way to create toys from the previously disregarded root of the rubber-wood tree!) and pushed the boundaries of labour relations and social welfare of employees.

Dancing Alligator
Marbel Toys are privileged to distribute such a fantastic range of global award winning wooden toys here in the UK.

You can find UK stockists of Plan Toys by clicking here.

Have a great weekend everyone.
